Whether you have a wedding, reunion or corporate retreat to plan, Voyageur Environmental Center offers a unique and scenic location just 25 miles west of the Twin Cities.
Imagine watching the sunset on Little Long Lake as you say, “I do,” with family and friends surrounding you. Or experiencing the warmth and glow of a fireplace within a natural-look lodge set on 110 acres of forested rolling hills.
Center staff can help you plan your event or occasion to fit your personal or company needs. Usage of the entire facility includes two lodges with a great hall and fully equipped commercial kitchen, air-conditioning and heat, and overnight accommodations in comfortable spacious cabins. There’s also a meeting space that fits 200 people and is available year-round.
In addition to Little Long Lake, Voyageur features a beaver pond, a pine forest, a floating sedge mat, an archery range, a sports field, and miles of nature trails for hiking.
Education Center
Youth of all ages will enjoy informative, interactive and experientially based programs at Voyageur. Schools can choose from more than forty-five curriculum-based classes taught by experienced Environmental Educators.
The fun, interactive programs also include the opportunity for canoeing, team building games, and archery. Programs are available for 1/2-day, full day, and overnight. Groups up to 84 participants have the option to stay overnight in newly renovated heated cabins.
