Voyageur Environmental
Center
Set on 110 acres of wooded, rolling hills is Voyageur Environmental Center, a full-service educational facility, camp and recreation area. Just 25 miles west of the Twin Cities, Voyageur features a beaver pond, a pine forest, a floating sedge mat, an archery range, a sports field, 8 sleeping cabins, and miles of hiking trails.
From June to August, Voyageur hosts the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Twin Cities summer camp, and throughout the year club members can visit on weekends and school release days. The Center also serves as a resource for schools and as a retreat and conference center. More than 3,500 guests visit Voyageur each year.
